Open Office sakit berat

Rupanya proyek Open Office sedang mengalami “sakit berat”, atau “profoundly sick project” menurut blog Michael Meeks.  Jumlah developer yg mensupport OpenOffice.org menurun berat sejak tahun 2004 (lihat graph).

Boot-up Windows dibawah 1 menit

Akhirnya mimpi saya terkabul: booting-up Windows XP SP2 dibawah satu menit. How did I do it? Menggunakan Apple MacOS 10.5 dengan VMware Fusion.
Tadinya saya agak skeptis. Komputer yg harus saya pakai adalah MacBookPro (oh so much suffering :) tapi saya masih memerlukan beberapa aplikasi dari dunia Windows (eg. MSFT Office). Malas rasanya buang duit membeli […]

Open Education

MIT press baru2 ini mengeluarkan buku gratis berjudul “Open Education” yang mencakup issue2 seperti open content, open knowledge dan open technology.
Linknya disini. Bisa di download gratis dalam bentuk PDF (masing2 bab atau seluruh buku). Mungkin berguna bagi dosen2 dan guru2 di Indonesia.
